Archive Diving

One of the points I always cover on landscape workshops and talks is the importance of getting to know a place. These are new shots of one of the places that I always use as an example… This little gorge gets a few minutes of light, it’s only by revisiting it that you get to know exactly when you need to be there. Actually they’re not ‘new’ shots as such, but were taken from a couple of years ago. I only just found them in my archive while looking for something else. Not sure how/why I overlooked them at the time. So I guess it’s also an example of the importance of revisiting your own work from time to time.

I’m still struggling to figure out which one I like best…
