Landscape, Iceland 2013 (the story so far…)
In August I was lucky enough to visit Iceland. I spent two weeks traveling around the remote and utterly breath-taking West Fjords with my sister. I think it’s safe to say that this incredible country made a lasting impression on me. I can’t wait to return, and really hope to be able to see these same places in the winter.
These shots are the first few landscapes that pretty much finished. That is to say, I’m mostly happy with how they look on screen, but all that may well change when I start printing proofs.
I guess these are fairly safe ground for me, in the same vein as my Cumbrian landscapes. There are many more to follow, including some quite different work… more about that later.
